Haute Dog was born from a love of street food and an obsession with fashion. The goal was to create "fancy" hotdogs with bold flavors from around the world. Inspired by the street dogs from around the country, with elements of different cultures, Haute Dog is the only food cart of it's kind in all of Central Texas.

My name is Sandra Escalante. I am the owner and operator of Haute Dog. I am a native Texan. Born and raised here in Temple, Texas. (THS class of '02! wooo!) I have a BAS in Fashion Design and Merchandising. But, the most important thing about me is that I love hotdogs! I decided to merge the two things I love and created Haute Dog: a mobile food cart that specializes in fancy hotdogs!

Our menu is inspired by my travels and my love of bold, flavorful food. From chili dogs, to Korean-style bulgogi and even Mexican street corn, we offer a wide variety of flavors that are sure to satisfy any craving. We use only the freshest ingredients and source locally whenever possible.
